A ‘Handmade Christmas’ in Wolverley We invite you to a very special Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday 6th December, in Wolverley Memorial Hall. We have brought together an exciting range of specially selected stalls featuring very individual artesian craft sellers. Treat yourself or someone special from a beautiful range of crafts and gifts. Enjoy some delicious homemade cakes and some very special mulled wine and mulled cider. Come and visit Santa Claus in his fireside setting, with his little helpers curled up at his feet, watching the fairy lights twinkle on the Christmas tree. Children can post their letter or tell him their Christmas wishes, and get a special gift from Santa. Our beautiful Christmas hamper is full of homemade Christmas treats will be raffled that afternoon, so be sure to buy a ticket to win this luxury Christmas prize. It wouldn’t be Christmas without carols round the tree, and we have a lovely tree, donated by our kind friends at Bodenham Arboretum. Come and sing with us at 4pm, sip your hot mulled wine and sing a carol or two, knowing that Christmas will be a little bit more special. Our Handmade Christmas Craft Fair is open at Wolverley Memorial Hall from 11am until 5pm, on Sunday 6th December, with carols round the tree at 4pm. This is another event brought to you by Wolverley Memorial Project.

On Saturday 31st October there will be a Barn Dance and Harvest Supper in the Memorial Hall. Starting at 7.30pm, this fund-raising event, for the Wolverley Memorial Project, features a live band and caller for an evening of barn dancing, drinking, food and fun. Tickets available NOW from the Old Village Store in Wolverley at just £12 each! Your ticket includes a delicious Harvest Supper and as much dancing as you can manage. There will be a cash bar, including local ale, wine and soft drinks. Numbers for this evening are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. We hope you can make it, Cowboy Dress is optional - but why not join in the fun!

2nd July | Free Arts Fest at Wolverley CE Secondary School Wolverley CE Secondary School is inviting the local community to join them at their free Arts Fest on Thursday 2nd July where there will be a number of activities suitable for the whole family. Taking place at the school between 5.30pm and approximately 9pm, the event will include live music, culminating with a performance by Kevin Donaldson from local band, The Murmur. Additionally, David Brown, a graffiti artist who featured on Dragons’ Den, will be showing of his talent and encouraging others to have a go. Those attending can take part in art workshops, watch dance shows, have fun on a bouncy castle and meet and feed the school’s farm animals. The school’s dry ski slope will also be open and long sleeved tops and trousers are needed for this free activity. There will be a barbeque, pizza making in the new outdoor education area, a sweet shop and ice-cream available, but guests are also encouraged to bring their own picnic. No ticket is needed.
